TV soapies have taught us anything, it’s that everybody needs good neighbours. When Grant’s good neighbours, Dick and Jill Johnson, became good friends it led to the Brisbane real estate agent buying the famed Tru-Blu Falcon. He netted seventh and 10th, in ’83 and ’84 respectively, upgrading to a Group A Commodore and a Sizzler-backed Skyline with son Tim. Dad and his lad were an impressive sixth in ’91.
