1:43 scale Torana replicates Peter Brock’s second tilt at Bathurst. Paired this time with another young fella, one Bob Morris, Brock was one of the Davids to the Ford Goliath. But it wasn’t just a lack of outright speed that cruelled their chances; a dropped valve lost the car many laps in the pits while Harry Firth’s crew changed the cylinder head.
