AMG GT: WHAT’S ON OFFER?

-

1/ COMAND and conquer

The GT gets the latest version of Merc’s COMAND Online multimedia system, complete with a tablet-style 8.4-inch screen. It’s not actually touch-enabled, but COMAND has become something of a BMW iDrive killer with its slick graphics and web-connected features.

2/ Big on buttons

Like all good modern sports cars, the AMG GT changes personality at the flick of a switch. Actually, make that lots of flicks and a baffling array of buttons. Everything from the stability control to the suspension settings, exhaust flaps and steering response are yours to control.

3/ Active aero

With 311 km/h on the menu, it’s probably wise to keep an eye on airflow. Luckily, the AMG GT doesn’t just have the usual active aero in the form of a pop-up rear spoiler. Adaptive ducts in the nose also balance the car while feeding cool air to that awesome V8 engine.
