MIDNIGHT SPAGHETTI & THE CROWN AND ANCHOR
There’s dim lit atmosphere in spades at Midnight Spaghetti, spread liberally by the same designers as Adelaide’s adored Pink Moon Saloon. Named after a risqué Italian film, it serves spag until midnight and calls Wednesdays ‘family night’, selling bowls of pasta for $15 a pop. Before, but especially after, head downstairs to the adjoining Crown and Anchor’s grungy dive bar that’s as iconic in Adelaide as the one-day international cricket on Australia Day. The eclectic crowd - ranging from artsy-types and rock ‘n’ rollers to flannelette shirts – kicks back on al fresco seating below weathered street murals. midnightspaghetti.com.au
