Will the BBC’S new cook­ery con­test be a wor­thy suc­ces­sor to the much-loved Bake Off? Zoe Ball and Nadiya Hus­sain are pre­sent­ing with Rose­mary Shrager and Gior­gio Lo­catelli judg­ing the cook­ing skills of 16 fam­i­lies as they cook both at home and in the stu­dio kitchens. Starts this month on BBC Two.


Judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace have their taste buds tin­gled with culi­nary de­lights from celebrity wannabe chefs. Fa­mous names en­ter­ing the kitchen in­clude co­me­dian Jim Moir (aka Vic Reeves), opera star Lesley Gar­ret, World Snooker cham­pion Stephen Hendry and pop star Rachel Stevens. Starts this month on BBC One.


There’s plenty of sum­mer cook­ing in­spi­ra­tion this month. Guests in­clude Great Bri­tish Menu champ Tommy Banks and Satur­day Kitchen reg­u­lars Paul Ainsworth and Gal­ton Black­iston.
