Brigid photographed the Rose Bay house for our cover story on p140. What has been your enduring creative influence? After seeing an exhibition of Magnum photographers in London 25 years ago, I decided to buy my first camera. Where is home for you? Central Coast, NSW, near a national park. I love being able to go for walks in beautiful Australian bush two minutes from my door. Favourite local haunts? Coffee traders live in our valley at Macmasters Beach with a great haunt, Looloo’s Coffee Shack. I love the Art Gallery of NSW. Ultimate travel escape? Skiing in Japan followed by rock climbing in the Dolomites. Eating options are very good in both countries! Design item you covet? The Edra ‘Boa’ sofa by Campana Brothers. On your reading list? Italian garden designer Luciano Giubbilei’s The Art of Making Gardens with beautiful photography by Andrew Montgomery.
