Belle Artstart is calling young artists.

With an aim to unearth Australia’s brightest unrepresented art stars, the program sponsored by Belle Property and Kerry Armstrong has drawn an outstanding talent pool over the past two years and is looking to top its success this year with a new crop of creatives. Artstart is a prize with a difference as entrants must be willing to sell their work at the Artstart event – the artist keeps the proceeds – and all submissions must be painted on the same size canvas (36”x24”). Entries close Friday, February 16, 2018, and the judging, sale and winners’ announcement will take place at the Artstart event at the end of February, 2018. So if you have a major work bubbling away in your mind, now is the time to get painting!

Belle Artstart is back for a third year and we’re calling Australia’s next wave of creative talent! Open to artists aged 16 to 25, our annual competition for emerging painters is offering a major prize of $10,000, second prize of $5000 and third prize of $2500.
