I’m pretty open to lots of fra­grances but I al­ways come back to some­thing with san­dal­wood [2]. BOOKS – WHAT ARE YOU READ­ING NOW – BOTH FIC­TION AND ART/DE­SIGN? The life of Miki Dora, which is an eclec­tic mix of fact and fic­tion, and a Brett White­ley biography. Brett was a real in­spi­ra­tion for the de­sign of our new Syd­ney store. MU­SIC – WHAT’S ON RO­TA­TION AT OF­FICE AND HOME? Right now we are lis­ten­ing to Nils Lof­gren singing Neil Young [3]. FAVOURITE FLOW­ERS? Banksia in­te­gri­fo­lia from my gar­den. BEST DOWN­TIME (IF YOU EVER HAVE ANY) PUR­SUIT? Walk­ing down the beach with my dog and my two boys, fol­lowed by a bit of gar­den­ing. DO YOU PRE­FER COF­FEE OR TEA – FAVOURITE BLENDS? I am ded­i­cated to both. I start the day with an Earl Grey tea, fol­lowed by a strong latte, then an­other tea, and then one more cof­fee and a tea later in the arvo. EN­TER­TAIN­ING – AT HOME – AND RES­TAU­RANT OF CHOICE? It’s def­i­nitely a din­ner party with friends and my wife’s fan­tas­tic home cook­ing. PRE­FERRED TIP­PLE? Asahi beer [4]. FILMS THAT HAVE IN­SPIRED YOU? The Nick Cave doc­u­men­tary, 20,000 Days on Earth [5], and all Wes An­der­son films. SHOPS AND ON­LINE STORES YOU FRE­QUENT? Incu and Satur­days NYC [6].
