Highlighters and illuminators are the magic wands every woman should own

what are they? Unlike contouring, which is about altering the shape of your features, these guys are skin ‘brighteners’. Illuminators and highlighters diffuse light, soften problem areas and help to fake a dewy complexion. After they’re applied they’re meant to practically disappear, leaving just a play of light. If they’re obvious it’s not a good look, so blend more, use less or try another product. Avoid sparkle or shimmer if you have mature skin or lines.
