No mincing words here, I love mince! And not just me, so many nationalit­ies around the world love it, too!

how fabulous is mince! If you’re like me, you’ll have goodly amounts of it in your freezer, ready to go any minute you need something easy, delicious and forever favourite. So whenever we run a mince feature in the magazine, we’re very excited. And here we come again with six new beauties you’ll just adore.

We’ve travelled around from one exotic kitchen to another to give you new tastes and flavours to add to your repertoire. But the trick is, our food editor, Ellie Vernon, began by taking the classics you love and giving them new excitement. So good ol’ English cottage pie picks up Tex-mex flavour – yum! Your perfect pasta goes even more perfect with minced pork and spicy chorizo sausage. Oh, please! What about your handy rissoles? Forget them! They take a trip to Lebanon and back and become sensationa­l chicken mince sticks for your grill or barbie. And your handy go-to meatloaf? You’ll go to it even more now because it’s going Greek and you’ll be tossing your plates to the floor with every meal as you dance to Zorba whenever you feast! Check the Italo/american burger – yes, ma’am, it’s beef, it’s the best! And ginger turkey mince rice bowls. Has healthy ever tasted so amazing? Wow!
