Welcome to December

Take a breath it’s Christmas again! And we’ve been thinking, thinking, thinking how to make it tip top for you, your loved ones and your besties!

-

as always we are thrilled to make Christmas very special for you! So come on a festive journey with us first up to the baking pages, beginning page 26, and be fully delighted by all those wonderful characters and recipes designed to be all-over breathtaking for you. First up, who can resist ‘them boys’ on page 29? When you serve them up on Christmas day just gear up for the squeals of delight they cause. (They’re so crazy mad, note the little reindeer in the bottom left-hand corner looking up thinking ‘what on earth...’!) Next, take yourself to page 31 and make the caramel fudge gingerbread tree holders for your people and watch them swoon as they bite into those little squares. But then come on in Mains, beginning page 38. Yum! Take your pick, everyone is a winner. But linger longer on that platter of vegetables that looks like a Christmas decoration itself. But here are the extra specials for this year – edible wreaths, too amazing for words! You need to turn to page 47 then 52 so you can enjoy the surprise of seeing them first. Then just imagine bringing them to your table on the day – joy oh joy! Then you haven’t even begun on the gorgeous craft pages that set you up for stardom when you make and give from their superb line up. And use those pages to inspire you for your Christmas cake decos that are atop our cover star. You can make or buy your own little setting and it will turn your cake into a Christmas tale of its own. Love! Love! But of course, there are other fab things you’ll be requiring around the home right now in prep for what’s ahead. So once you’ve hand-selected what will give you your splendid season this year, relax into the rest of this lovely issue, and we’re on our way to saying Merry Christmas for a month or two yet.
