Alice Springs takes centre stage

SIXTEEN event planners from around Australia descended on Alice Springs, over the weekend for the Alice Stampede.

The famil aims to attract more events to the Northern Territory by building on the $35 million economic contribution business events make to the region.

NT Member for Braitling Dale Wakefield said Alice Springs will be promoted as a unique business events destination and would showcase it’s innovation in overcoming the economic and social challenges of remote living.

The meeting planners programs included visiting facilities in the town, accommodation and a private tour of Parrtjima – a Festival in Light.
