Marriott’s Delta Hotels brand is coming to Asia
MARRIOTT International’s four-star Delta Hotels brand will make its debut in Asia later this year, with a new property opening in Shanghai.
Focusing on “truly meaningful elements” that provide its guests with “a memorable and frictionless journey,” Delta Hotels typically feature deluxe rooms, corner rooms, and one-bedroom suites, along with multiple restaurants, bars and a grab-and-go food marketplace.
A 24-hour fitness centre, with free weights and yoga/Crossfit spaces, plus complimentary wifi throughout the property can also be expected.
Travellers will also be able to use the Marriott Mobile App to check-in, checkout and enjoy keyless room entry. The new Shanghai hotel is one of 20 properties currently in the pipeline, as Delta Hotel’s undergoes a major expansion to double its current portfolio.
This coincides with Marriott’s overall expansion in the region, which will see it open approximately 80 properties in Asia this year, with 500 slated to open by 2021. marriott.com
