Shanghai to get new Sukhothai and House Collective hotels

SWIRE Hotels and HKRI International Limited have confirmed that the world’s second Sukhothai hotel as well as its fourth “House Collective” property will be opening in Shanghai this year.

The properties will be located at the two companies’ upcoming HKRI Taikoo Hui mixed-use development, with direct connections to shops and two office towers.

The new House Collective property, The Middle House, will offer 111 rooms as well as 102 serviced apartments.

Meanwhile, The Sukhothai Shanghai – which is annexed with a restored heritage building, Cha House – will feature 168 rooms and 33 suites. It will also feature an iteration of the La Scala restaurant, which currently operates in its sister property in Bangkok. hkri.com, swireproperties.com
