We thank Mr Tan for his patronage and his feedback, and wish to assure him that at Qatar Airways, we are committed to and work hard at delivering a superior customer experience for our passengers.
Regrettably the in-flight entertainment system in his seat malfunctioned during his flight with us. Our cabin crew offered Mr Tan two solutions on board that evening – firstly, the crew consulted another first class passenger and ascertained he was going to rest for his entire journey to Doha and would not require the use of his in-flight entertainment system. Hence the crew suggested to Mr Tan that he consider switching seats with this particular passenger.
The other solution suggested was for Mr Tan to view his in-flight entertainment in a business class seat with the option of returning to his first class seat to rest should he subsequently wish to. Our customer care team has been in touch with Mr Tan post-trip to again convey our sincere apology for his onboard experience.
We thank Mr Tan again for his feedback and hope to have the opportunity to welcome him on board our flights again in the near future.
