SQ=SHEERQUALITY

I have just landed at Heathrow, flying in from Singapore where I live. Singapore Airlines (SQ) sets the bar extremely high in terms of cabin crew service levels. There’s a reason why it’s a serial award winner. Cabin crew are always friendly, respectful and address people by name. They are always happy to chat and help wherever needed. In my many flights with SQ, they have always delivered.

On this flight, my power socket was broken. I actually saw this as a relief, deciding that it was a sign that I should watch a movie instead of working. The crew understood but still gave me a voucher to compensate me for this “problem”. I didn’t even complain and they still did this. I am very happy with the normally excellent level of service but this was “over and above” and makes me an even more vocal advocate of Singapore Airlines being simply the best airline to fly with.
