Best DesigN “At less than half the weight of medium format D-SLRs and considerably more compact, the mirrorless X1D is compact and ergonomic with a stylish design. The bodyshell is handcrafted from solid billets of aluminium and incorporates a comfortable wraparound handgrip. Smaller even than most full-35mm format D-SLRs, the X1D offers impressive user control and functionality along with a 33x44 mm 50 MP CMOS sensor for enhanced imaging performance. An all-new 35-points contrast-detection AF system is fast and accurate. A 2.4 MP EVF is supplemented by a 7.62 cm LCD monitor screen which provides extensive touchscreen controls for most of the camera’s functions, as well as playback operations such as browsing and zooming.
