TWEED COAST, NSW NEW WATER SLIDES AT NORTH STAR

You can now expect more family fun at North Star Holiday Resort, on the Tweed Coast, with two new super slides opening. The 8.2-metre-high tubular slides at the Hastings Point park whisk kids big and small more than 60 metres down to poolside platforms. They’re a great addition to the water zone, which also includes guest favourite, Sammy’s Adventure Lagoon. The slides were a four-year dream, and cost more than $1.5 million to complete. North Star owners Ian and Diana Beadel say the slides are “the icing on the cake” for families holidaying at the iconic resort. northstar.com.au
