Barlings Beach Holiday Park

-

Where Rosedale, New South Wales

Just 15 minutes from Batemans Bay, Barlings Beach Holiday Park enjoys a seaside location within easy reach of the Clyde River and all of the region’s abundant natural beauty. Little adventurers will go beach exploring, sandcastle building and have their faces painted at the dedicated kids’ club, which usually runs activities for kids aged four and up, Monday to Friday, throughout the school holiday periods.

There is a kiosk with convenient essentials, and the park’s own cafe offers coffee, an à la carte menu and a shady deck on which to enjoy it all before a splash in the ocean, which is just a short stroll across the dunes. If the weather is cool, retreat to the park’s heated pool instead.

This park’s location makes it a budding zoologist’s dream come true. Must-dos are a visit to Mogo Zoo, where there are more than 200 animals, including white lions. Next, head to Birdland Animal Park to discover the rich biodiversity of Australia’s native mammals, birds and reptiles, many of which will approach you for a pat, including the adorable orphaned baby wombats.

Tuckered out, the whole family will be happy to retreat to one of the cabins, villas or campsites, all of which are close to the park’s pools, playground, camp kitchen and barbecues.

Sleep Choose from cabins, luxury spa villas and campsites.

Do Make time to explore Montague Island, where thousands of years of Indigenous heritage can be discovered as well as the resident Little Penguin and Fur Seal colonies.
