FORD FAIR
When: Sunday, August 6 Where: Silverstone Circuit, UK There is no other show quite like Ford Fair. Now an impressive 31 years old and still going strong, the annual Ford fest attracts enthusiasts from all over the world for a one-day celebration of all things Blue Oval at the Silverstone circuit near Northampton. Despite the introduction of the Classic Ford Show some 13 years ago, the old Ford content actually increases every year, and what was once a 1980s-onwards Ford-based event now attracts cars from the ’50s, ’60s and ’70s, too. With the main bulk of the show held inside the circuit, it would have been silly not to have made full use of the track. So track sessions for road-legal Fords run throughout the day, including classic Ford-only sessions. Elsewhere expect clubs, massive trade and autojumble areas for you to find that vital part, special displays from both Classic Ford and Fast Ford magazines, and a whole lot more besides.Tickets are £25 per adult in advance and include an exclusive Ford FairT-shirt and Show Guide.
