Rebuilding a Mk1 Capri with so many modern extras is no mean feat. Luckily, Ian had a huge amount of knowledge, skills and friends to help him pull it off.

With so many extra electrics, the rewire was a hugely-involved job. Note sound-deadening.

While all this was going on, Ian had to rebuild the Cosworth 24-valve engine, too.

The many, many upgrades include Mondeo callipers gripping Cosworth discs using a kit from Caprisport.

Starting with a shell meant Ian was able to make his own mark on the car — once it had been repaired.
