Road run for classics through Epynt.

A fter the blast participants had on the last tour of South Wales, the organisers decided to throw another one and it didn't disappoint! The group consisted of classic enthusiasts from both from South Wales and North Wales and the Liverpool area, and they all arranged to start in the rural village of Penderyn.

The sun was shining and the conditions were perfect. Wayne Hankins lead the way from Penderyn to Ystradfellte in his arched and Zetec-powered Anglia, the route featuring classic narrow welsh lanes before heading onwards to Brecon. The views were breathtaking and the sun was high in the sky. After a pit stop in this historic town we made our way to the Epynt rally stages. These roads are in pristine condition and go on for miles and miles. We were in this area for hours to only see the army on exercise, the occasional cyclist and the odd sheep.

Day Two saw us heading to the Big Welsh Car Show located at Margam Park. So many cars and the weather was perfect yet again a highly recommend day out for car lovers!

This is the second time we have organised a South Wales tour and are looking forward to the next one. The organisers have decided to keep the tour in small numbers as the organisers have to make sure everyone from slow to fast drivers are happy.
