SALES RECORDS FOR JAGUAR LAND ROVER & ROLLS-ROYCE

-

Foreign-owned, Britishbought: It seems the luxury car market in this country is healthy and willing to continue the existence of historic nameplates.

Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) and Rolls-Royce topped their respective sales charts last year, supported by new model launches, factory expansions and training programmes.

For JLR, 2016 was its best ever full year in global sales terms: 583,313 cars found homes, with the majority of those vehicles – 434,583 – wearing a green oval.

4011 Rolls-Royces were sold in the same period – the marque’s second highest result in its 113-year history.
