TRIUMPHS AND CLASSICS

-

The All Triumph Day at the Imperial War Museum Duxford was originally started by the TSSC Essex Area back in 1993. Around the year 2000, the TSSC Herts and Beds Area took over the organisation and have continued every year since without a break, not even for Covid. Over the years we have been located all over the site, including the concrete base of the hangar blown up for the Battle of Britain film, but in recent years have been regularly using a nice central grass area near the control tower that has proven popular. Entry to the site for the event has also varied over the years, but for road safety reasons it is now via the main car park. The entry fee has inevitably increased over the years too as IWM have increased their entry charge. For 2022 it is £20 for each adult paid at the gate – no pre-booking, and it's cash only.

In recent years we have tried to open the event up to all classics by subtly changing the name, and we will be holding the 29th All Triumph and Classics Day at Duxford on 4th September 2022 – any classic is welcome, not just Triumphs, and you can picnic if you wish or use the other catering services open around the Duxford site. Also, if you can’t bring a classic, you are welcome to arrive in a modern provided you bring the advert or a club membership card and enter through our entrance and we will park you close to the action and all the classics.

There is always some aircraft activity even though it’s not a full flying day, but this is also an opportunity to see one of the best collections of different Triumph models in the area. We to hope to see you there – you'll find us on the A505 just by junction 10 of the M11.
