The third in Gothic’s Dronar series takes their four-layer scripted Kontakt engine into the world of cinematic multisampled strings. 731 “drone” presets are powered by 10GB of samples and deployed in keyswitched groups of 12 within each of 204 NKIs. A drone consists of FX, Hi, Mid and Lo layers, each layer mixing two menuselected samples, and is messed with using the onboard filters, envelopes, Arpeggiator, Rhythm Editor (groove manipulation), LFO and effects.
