1GB of superb loops and one-shots from the darker, less commercial side of garage productions. The 40 stemmed beats are inventive and impactful, the basslines are bursting with subby analogue goodness, and the looping pads almost sound like complete compositions in themselves – we wonder why SM didn’t include the stems for them, as they have with their other recent libraries. The only negative we can come up with is that the folder of field recordings is completely out of place, but we’d be mean to dock a point for that. Absolutely tearin’! www.samplemagic.com
