D16 Group Tekturon

-

With such a rich variety of possible topologies and features, ’s view is that you can never have too many delay plugins. And D16 Group would seem to agree, with Tekturon joining their existing Sigmund and Repeater in the Delay category of your plugins folder.

What’s different about Tekturon is its step-sequencer-style approach, which makes it possible to rapidly apply various effects to each of 16 delay taps. For each step of the sequence, you can program in modifications to volume, delay, feedback, panning, stereo spread, filter type, cutoff and resonance. There are global controls as well, both for applying delay effects to the overall signal and for influencing the nature of the delay sequence itself. These include feedback amount, a master filter (this controls all taps with filter type set to MF), host tempo sync, shuffle/swing, and the expected dry/wet mix and level knobs.

There are individual mute buttons for each delay line too – D16 suggest that you hook these up to your MIDI controller “to dynamically cut and add delay lines with the push of a (literal) button”. Out now, Tekturon is €69.
