Zero-G’s Ethera scripted Kontakt engine has scored very highly in these pages a couple of times before, and this latest excursion, comprising a trio of instruments (built on 14GB of multisamples) for cinematic sound design is the series high point thus far. We can’t even begin to describe the intricacies of Soundscapes’ Vocal, Synth and Ambience scripts and soundbanks in so few words, but between them, they open up more epic and evocative male and female vox, electronic tones and textural material possibilities than you’ll know what to do with. www.timespace.com
