Overloud Tapedesk

Modern CPU power has made it totally possible to run a project full of virtual mixing desks and tape machine emulations. As the name implies, Tapedesk crams both into a single plugin. On the tape side, you have a simulation of a two-inch 24-track machine, with controls for Recording Level, Tape Speed ( 7.5, 15 or 30ips), Bias, Wow/Flutter and Playback Level. For the console sim, there are three models: S4000 ("wide and somewhat aggressive"), N80 ("rich, warm, English sound") and T88 (" thick, fat tone and a renowned personality"). Tapedesk is $199.
