> Stereo flanging

-

We don’t have to limit ourselves to what was possible with tape machines when recreating flanging in our workstations. Flanging is achieved by mixing a modulated, delayed signal in with the original. We can take this further and create a wide stereo effect by using two delayed signals, rather than just one. Follow our step by step, but create a duplicate of the delayed channel. Pan the delayed channels left and right, then change the LFO modulation rate in one of them. When these channels are mixed with the original signal, you’ll achieve super-wide stereo flanging!
