Three top-level folders divide 240 samples into Ambiences, Layered Tracks and Single Hits. Ambiences are small groups of thematically-related sounds; Layered Tracks are stemmed combos; and the Single Hits comprise shorter impacts, burbles, mechanicals and so on. Distant Lights’ huge spacescapes, ethereal otherwordliness and cavernous voids are hardly original in concept and presentation, but they all sound great. Quite pricey, though. www.timespace.com
