ON THE COVER
Natasha Morgan has taken a battered old shipping container and transformed it into a studio space on her and partner Michael Howard’s two-hectare farm, Oak and Monkey Puzzle, in Spargo Creek, in Victoria’s central highlands. It now has pride of place alongside the kitchen garden, orchard, beehives and prolific flowerbeds, and in it, she holds tailor-made dinners and events, as well as workshops that might cover anything from seasonal food and foraging, to floristry, garden design and dry stonewalling. Here, it has been set up for a medieval-style banquet, the table laden with orchard fruits and Natasha’s homemade preserves.
