Queensland The Vision Splendid Outback Film Festival June 24th–july 2nd

Country Style - - A MONTH IN THE COUNTRY -

Winton, a tiny outback town in the state’s central west, is rolling out the red carpet for the greatest dinosaur films of all time as part of its annual film festival. Interestingly, this year’s theme is inspired by the fact Winton has the largest collection of Australian dinosaur fossils in the world and what’s thought to be the world’s only recorded dinosaur stampede. Come along for workshops, masterclass luncheons with famous Australian actors and film dignitaries, tours of the iconic outback film locations, live music, a kids’ club and films screened in three outback cinemas.
