In addition to a number of preschool and early learning centres, Mittagong is home to a co-educational public primary school, and the private St Michael’s Catholic School and Gib Gate. The latter is part of the Winifred West collection of schools, which includes Frensham, the town’s highly regarded girls’ high school and boarding house. Campuses for TAFE and university are in nearby Moss Vale.
