Oh, joy, the lo­cal as­para­gus sea­son has started. That means fresh spears on spring and sum­mer dishes. To keep your as­para­gus fresh, store them as you do cut flow­ers. Stand up­right in a con­tainer with about 1cm of cold wa­ter, cover and place in the fridge.
