Anna lives with her husband, Cameron, and their three children: Ava, 10, Lottie, eight, and Louis, six, between Sydney and Berry on NSW’S South Coast.
Where do you live? We live in Sydney but have recently purchased a rural property in Berry.
What do you love about living in the country?
I’m a country girl at heart, having grown up in the Scottish countryside. I feel a connectedness to the Southern Highlands of NSW as it reminds me of the landscape I grew up in.
Describe your style. Simple and uncomplicated day-to-day but I love to dress up for special occasions.
Are you interested in fashion? I am interested in fashion, but not necessarily strongly influenced by it.
Who are your style influences? I like Charlotte Gainsbourg’s casual look and Kate Middleton’s country style.
What’s the best style advice you’ve ever received? Wear what makes you feel at ease and don’t be tempted to buy the same top in every colour!
What are your wardrobe essentials? Comfy sneakers, jeans and an understated blouse.
What are your favourite clothing labels? While on our family sabbatical in France I discovered some fabulous French brands such as Maje, Sandro, Carroll, and Des Petits Hauts. Otherwise I’ve always liked Tory Burch, Scotch & Soda, and basics from Country Road.
Where do you shop for clothing and accessories? Since returning from France I’ve been shopping at local boutiques where possible to support these businesses.
What are your essential beauty products? Rationale skincare, NARS, Hourglass, Ellis Faas and Arbonne.
Do you have a favourite fragrance? Baccarat, Maison Francis Kurkdjian, Paris.
Do you have any favourite accessories? Ubercircle jewellery by Uberkate, personalised with my kids’ names.
What helps you keep a balanced life? Daily 10 minute meditation, Shakti Mat, Pilates, tennis or boot camp.
What are you reading right now? Inspired by a recent trip to St Petersburg I’m reading Sashenka by Simon Sebag Montefiore. Next read will be Hilary Mantel’s Wolf Hall and my current side-read is Raising Boys by Steve Biddulph.
What do you never leave home without? My water bottle and my sunnies.
Where are your favourite spots to eat and drink? The Garden Berry, Milkwood Bakery and Bendooley Estate for a special lunch.
Where are your favourite spots for homewares? Dirty Janes, Bowral. When we’re restocking for Dusty Luxe in Dirty Janes, I love browsing other vendors’ goods.
