Please design a feminine birthday card with a chic Parisian feel using the DMC stranded cotton colours shown below, plus up to four flower buttons.

Materials and rules:

• One piece of white 28 count evenweave fabric

• Four shades of DMC stranded cotton: 963 (Ultra Very light Dusty Rose), 3716 (Very Light Dusty Rose), 318 (Light Steel Grey) & 413 (Dark Pewter Grey)

• One mystery item of your own

• Design size: 56x50 stitches max

• Pink flower buttons (12.5mm diameter,

available from Hobbycraft ) Although we are not judging your designs, this is a stitching challenge, so please make sure you play fair, and that all parts of the design are your own work, and not copied from any other source.
