Worth the wait

Do you remember this one? It was in the April 2002 issue of CrossStitcher. Yes that's 15 years ago!

As poppies are my favourite flowers I was quick to order the tablecloth and then to start it

but, for some reasons I cannot remember, I stopped stitching it on occasions. Was it the fact that there were four corners to be stitched all the same?

Anyway I was sorting through some of my threads earlier this year and came across the cloth with one corner to stitch and

the rest is the finished article. Fantastic!
