MAKE A… FABRIC ENVELOPE

Cut a heart from a favourite scrap of fabric to make this simple idea.

Step1

BACK your fabric with iron-on-interfacin­g, opt for a fine cotton lawn as this will fold neatly and easily to make your envelope. Enlarge and trace around the heart template below and cut out.

Step3

TURN the fabric so the point is facing away from you, and then fold the bottom curved edge up to meet the end of each side fold at A, as shown on the template. Iron along this fold too.

Step 2

PLACE your fabric face down and make a fold at each side of the heart, as shown on the template and in the photo above. Iron along each fold to secure them in place.

Step 4

IRON the envelope flap over. Interface the back of your stitched address and stamp patches and then use Bondaweb to attach them to the front of the envelope to complete.
