August issue 321 challenge: Create a ‘Best Ever Summer’ mini t-shirt as a gift for a teenage girl. It will be stitched on evenweave and attached to a 10cm wooden Football Sports Shirt shape from www.craftshapes.co.uk, which can be hung from a ribbon hanger. Materials and rules: • One piece of white 28 count evenweave fabric • Five shades of DMC stranded cotton: Light Sea Green (964), Dark Sea Green (958), Very Light Terra Cotta (758), Pale Yellow (744) and Geranium (956) • One mystery item of your own • Design size: 42 x 48 stitches approx, depending on wooden shape used Although we are not judging your designs, this is a stitching challenge, so please make sure you play fair, and that all parts of the design are your own work, and not copied from any other source.
