Cross Stitcher

Seaside Special

It’s hot, hot, hot! Time to cool things down with a super-sweet lolly card to make a good friend melt…

-

Nice as ice, lolly card

When backstitching the lettering, finish your stranded cotton after each word, so as not to trail the stranded cotton across the back of your work

Make a… lolly card

Step 1 FOLD the fabric in half both ways to find the centre and start stitching at this point. Complete all the cross stitch in two strands, then the backstitch lettering in two strands.

Step 2 CUT your stitched fabric to fit the front of your card, then fray the outer edge by removing two or three threads from each side of the stitching. Use double-sided tape to attach your stitching to the front of the card.
