OVER TO YOU…

We asked our fans on Facebook “How do you store your stash?”...

-

SARAH MCKEOWN Which stash?! The everyday stash or the stash hidden from the husband so he doesn’t know how much of a problem you seem to have with stash buying!

MICHELLE LOUISE HULL I’m lucky to have the box room as my craft room. Fabric is all in a drawer unit and I have a Bisley for threads.

TAMARA KERELCHUK I have beautiful neat boxes that I store floss in... and as they are used they never go back. They’re strewn around project bags, fancy toffee tins, little zip-ups (big zipups), and clear plastic bags. I also have a clear plastic container I started filling with my hand-dyed floss, but that’s really more decorative than practical – I really just love looking at them!

ERYN OHRT I bought one of the screw/ nail compartment holders from Home Depot. The floss organisers fit perfectly so that I can have all of my thread in numerical order. The bottom drawers are the perfect size for extras – scissors, pens, skeins, etc.

ELBERTA HOFFMANN My extra aida cloth is stored in a bin. My threads on bobbins are stored in a wood cabin by numerical order. My extra threads are in snack baggies with index cards with numbers and the names of the colours.

GEMMA WEST Mine are in a carrier bag... but they have to be strategically hidden as I have a 5-year-old Springer Spaniel and a 9-week-old Sprocker and they just love to find the things they know they shouldn’t have!
