Cross Stitcher

OVER TO YOU…

-

We asked our fans on Facebook, “What’s your favourite stitching tool or gadget?”

DARLENE WARE My magnetic board (I connected two with tool bar magnets) and the scroll frames with velcro strips.

CHRISTINE LYNN A highlighter pen. I wouldn’t have a clue where I was up to without it and you can successfully photocopy the chart and keep the copy pattern to use another time.

CASSIE RUTH My daylight lamp and my needle threader – couldn’t stitch without them, my eyes are not as good as they used to be.

FIONA DICKSON My pencil case. It only cost me $1, but it's the best thing ever. It allows me to take stitching wherever I go. Road trips, holidays, work. It keeps everything in one place, safe and clean.

KAREN BINTY CADMAN My new Lowry stand... I’ve been stitching for over 30 years and got one for Christmas. How have I managed without it? I’m now a two-hand ninja stitcher!

LINDA VERNON My ripper – my sister brought one for my birthday a few weeks ago, best practical present ever – already used it a couple of times this year.

SHEILA HENSON My all-in-one printer. I make copies of the pattern and enlarge sections. Easier to read and then I can highlight to keep track where I am.

DOROTHY HARTEL My tweezers: for pet hairs, fuzzy thread bits, and removing slugs in linen fabric.

MARGARET WEYBOURNE My music stand, it’s perfect for my copy of CrossStitcher!
