Make a… patch card

Step 1

WORK all the cross stitch in two strands of stranded cotton, the backstitch in one strand and the lettering in two strands.

Step 2

CUT a piece of Kraft paper to fit the front of your card, and then the stitched aida smaller than the paper.

Step 3

FRAY one block of threads on all sides of the fabric – carefully peeling away the threads one at a time.

Step 4

USE double-sided tape to attach the fabric firmly to the front of the card.
