Create a design for the front of a needle case, using three of the buttons – one white cotton reel, one black reel and the scissors – from the Dress It Up Button Pack (Sew Cute Spools & Scissors) available from www.craftdepartment.com.

• White 14 count aida • Six shades of DMC stranded cotton: Light Lemon (445), Light Nile Green (955), Pale Bay Blue (3756), Light Tangerine (742), Tangerine (740) and Dark Beaver Grey (646) • One mystery item of your own • Design size: 42 x 42 stitches Although we are not judging your designs, this is a stitching challenge, so please make sure the design is your own work, not from another source.
