Cross Stitcher

OVER TO YOU…

-

We asked our fans on Facebook, “What’s the latest you’ve finished a stitched gift ready for Christmas? Are you always organised or do you often leave some stitching until Christmas Eve?”

MONIQUE TELEHIN I started Joan Elliott’s Rose Fairy in July for my grandmama’s birthday in October a couple of years ago. I didn’t have it finished in time for her birthday, or that Christmas, or her next birthday, but I got it finished a few days before last Christmas and was able to finally gift it to her. Holding the scroll frame while pregnant was getting a bit hard in the end but I managed it.

ISABEL FREEMAN 10 mins before the recipient was due to arrive! Got it wrapped just in time. I try to be organised but life has a habit of scuppering things.

PATRICIA BOYLE Christmas Eve two years ago I was finishing off a dreamcatcher present for my niece, was sat in bed nearly three hours sorting out the tassels, thankfully she loved it.

BARBARA MCLACHLAN Not late but early. Last Xmas I received your Dec mag in Jan and did the free Xmas cone and gave it to a friend’s new baby with his name on for next year’s Xmas tree. I’m in Australia so get the mag months behind.

DEVON FERALIGATR ASHLEY I have four huge cross stitches planned for Christmas this year and I just finished the cross stitching on this one from an earlier issue! Two down, two to go :)

RHIANNON M JONES 30 Nov for an Advent calendar and I just managed to get it to them in time. I was forgiven as I did fill it with the chocolate treats!
