Cross Stitcher

OVER TO YOU…

-

We asked our fans on Facebook, “Which feeling does cross stitching give you to explain why you love it so much?”

TRACEY SWART I have a saying “I live to stitch and stitch to live”. It’s an escape into my own little world and seeing the end result is so satisfying.

STEPHANIE OVERFIELD I absolutely love cross stitching as it takes my mind o’ my pain that I’m in with my joints. And that you see a beautiful piece of art coming together.

IRIS DE GANS I am Dutch, in Holland we don’t have a magazine as good as CS! Every time I get it in the mailbox I have a wonderful day. Made a lot of things out of CS already! Love it!

JULIE GOSS Cross stitching helps me to relax and take my mind away from worrying things. I also get a sense of pride and achievement from my work.

ANNE EVANS The pleasure of knowing that sewing single stitches that will come together to create a memory – for me and my family and friends.

JENNIFER POWELL Seeing people’s reactions when given as gifts or surprises. Makes all the hard work worth it.

JANE MCSHEA Cross stitching is my little world. From planning what and whom I’m going to stitch for, relaxing while I’m stitching my project until I’m almost finished, then the excitement of what to do next. Then the pride when it’s all finished and framed and the joy of seeing the reaction of the receiver or if I’ve put it up on the wall and I think “yes, I did that.”

SHARON BLICKENSDERFER Cross stitch is the perfect way for me to take a break from my college studies.
