THEY’RE well known to be noxious pests which would be be4er off eliminated from the environmen­t ‐ but P&O Cruises’ Pacific Aria s ll brought a boat‐ load of them into Sydney Harbour yesterday morning.

A special NRL State of Origin cruise carried about 1,500 rabid Queensland­ers to the NSW capital for the second game in the annual series ‐ complete with a giant 7m high inflatable cane toad on the vessel’s bow.
