-

PASSENGERS on Crystal Cruises’ Crystal Endeavor won’t have to forego the finer things in life, with the line promising the most spacious suites in expedition cruising, complete with butler service.

Crystal pres and ceo Tom Wolber yesterday revealed details of the accommodation on the expedition yacht for Crystal Yacht Expedition Cruises, which will debut in 2020.

The vessel’s suites will feature private verandas, king-sized beds, walk-in closets, heated storage for drying parkas, bathrooms with heated floors, dual vanities, antifog mirrors and rain-showers.

There will also be bedside iPads in every suite, offering voyage information and international daily newspapers.

Crystal Endeavor will have capacity for 200 guests across two 92-105m2 Crystal Penthouse Suites, eight 42m2 Penthouse Suites and 90 28m2 Deluxe Suites.

The larger of the two Crystal Penthouse Suites will feature a two-bedroom layout, while the other has a one-bedroom layout and connects to an adjacent Deluxe Suite.

The Penthouse Suites ( pictured) and Deluxe Suites will offer separate sleeping and sitting areas and desk vanity areas.

“These suites will be private havens of relaxation and personal service welcoming travellers as they embark on journeys to the far corners of the world,” Wolber said.

Crystal Cruises said the 19,800GRT vessel would be “the largest, most spacious purposebuilt polar class expedition yacht in the world” and feature a full-service spa and salon, six restaurants & expedition rooms.

Crystal Endeavor’s itinerary details are yet to be revealed.
