SCENIC Luxury Cruises & Tours has announced Scenic Eclipse II is on schedule to make her inaugural voyage in Apr.

The ship will depart on her debut sailing on 13 Apr, the 11day Incredible Iberian Discovery, cruising from Lisbon to Barcelona.

The inaugural season will see Eclipse II explore the Mediterranean, Scotland, the Arctic, and the Americas, before heading to Australia, the South Pacific, and the Ross Sea.

Three new voyages have been released as part of the 2024/25 Antarctica brochure collection, including a 24-day Antarctica’s Ross Sea: Majestic Ice & Wildlife, with two departures from Hobart or Dunedin.

There is also a 25-day Mawson’s Hut & Commonwealth Bay Expedition, departing 15 Dec 2024 from Queenstown.

New details on a range of luxurious new enhancements aboard Eclipse II have also been announced, with the ship to feature a Sky Deck with 270-degree views, and a brand new Sky Bar with indoor & outdoor seating, and six private cabanas.

The Sky Deck will also feature a large Vitality Pool with both swim jets and massage jets.

The 550m2 Senses Spa has been enhanced with a new KLAFS custom salt therapy lounge with heated beds and aromatherapy scents (pictured), while an expanded dedicated infrared ‘ocean view’ lounge with colour light therapy.

Meanwhile, the newly designed Chef’s Garden @ Epicure includes a dedicated space for up to 14 guests, with a presentation table for culinary masterclasses and tasting events, and a hydroponic herb garden.

With strong demand for Eclipse II’s inaugural season, a limited selection of voyages and suites are available with savings of up to 20% and up to $2,000 per person towards airfares.
